UACatsDivision’s unique NFT signed by the President of Ukraine set for auction

Volodymyr Zelensky, the Ukraine President, has personally signed a printed image of the unique NFT part of the UACatsDivision collection.
UACatsDivision collection to fund naval drones
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed a unique NFT, numbered #1, with the president’s image. It is unique because it is the only one in the collection of 10,000 NFTs to feature the president’s hoodie. The hoodie is a sweatshirt he has worn since the war with Russia began, featuring the Ukrainian coat of arms.
The UACatsDivision is the first national NFT collection that features cats of the Ukraine Armed Forces, created in partnership with UNITED24 and Incrypted. The collection is live on OpenSea, including the UACatsDivision #1 NFT.
The NFT and its physical version of the president’s signature will be auctioned. All the funds collected will be donated to the Ukraine Armed Forces’ naval drones. The other 9,999 NFTs will also serve as donations.
Currently, the funds raised are enough for one of the four naval drones. About 3,000 NFTs from the collection have been sold, raising approximately 11 million UAH.
Dmytro Kuriksha, the co-founder of the UACatsDivision project, mentioned that their mission is to show the heroism of Ukraine’s people and their struggle for freedom and independence. He added, “We want to engrave the cats of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the form of an NFT collection, which will forever remain a symbol of Ukrainian strength.”

Crypto and NFTs to the rescue
Ukraine has received significant crypto donations since the beginning of the Russian invasion amounting to over $212 million in crypto grants. The funds were used to fund the war, from bulletproof vests and helmet purchases to drones. Furthermore, some of the funds went to radios and medical supplies.
NFTs were also used to raise funding, such as Ukraine DAO, which auctioned off a Ukrainian flag NFT for $6.5 million. Furthermore, Ukraine has received NFTs in the form of donations. In June 2022, they sold a donated CryptoPunk NFT for $100,000.
