The first “Bored Ape” NFT game Dookey Dash available for play for $2,300
The infamous Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT collection gives free access to play Dookey Dash. Exclusive members of the club are making thousands of dollars from selling time-limited gaming passes in the secondary market.

Dookey Dash, a runner/tunnel racing game, continues to attract millions of revenue to the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) members.
According to the listings on the OpenSea exchange, there is a “Sewer Pass” NFT giving access to Dookey Dash for three weeks, costing 1.49 ETH (equivalence of $2,293). The Sewer Pass transactions have skyrocketed to 8,394 ETH (about $12.8 million) in less than a day. Some passes have already sold at more than 5.75 ETH (about $8,770).
Pundits have attributed the high level of Sewer Pass transactions to money laundering but are not ruling out the possibility of players clamoring to enjoy Dookey Dash. Yuga Labs’ experience in offering gameplay cannot be the driving force for the vast engagements and sales. Most NFT speculators are using the game to access the platform with the hope of a big sprout in the future.
How to play Dookey Dash
Dookey Dash is similar to a newer version of Earthworm Jim, which did not attract most people. Players fly and dodge obstacles just like in other web or mobile games to earn points in the game.
According to the explanation by Yuga Labs, Dookey Dash is more than a game but a “mint.” The highest-scoring players in Dookey Dash attain a Sewer Pass NFT. A single Sewer Pass enables the player to make numerous attempts until its deadline on February 8. All Sewer Pass holders will trade it to acquire a “Power Source” NFT starting February 15 during “The Summoning.”
Yuga Labs promised fair game to its players by instigating “anti-cheat checks” to bar robots. The team will also review players that “raise red flags.” Players requiring legal advantage get a score boost to earn a higher-tier Sewer Pass. A player can obtain a “powershart pack” by spending crypto ApeCoin, which directly finances Yuga Labs.
What does Dookey Dash offer?
The structure used in Dookey Dash differs from the previous play-to-earn games like Axie Infinity. Dookey Dash values gaming skills compared to Axie Infinity, where gamers use Axis to farm digital assets.
The structure applied in Axie infinity was productive in a short time, mainly among players in developing countries, but it collapsed due to a lack of interest. Dookey Dash’s structure ties players to Yuga Labs, and the Power Sources earned can be used in the future.
Building of NFT marketplaces
Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) is not the only community exploiting the NFT marketplace, as Rarible announced building a marketplace through Rarible protocol. The company indicated that marketplaces hold the future in the NFT world. According to Rarible, its marketplace builder enables users to twist their marketplaces and incorporate other choices, such as royalty-free adjustments.
Data from Dune Analytics indicate that the OpenSea marketplace facilitated a record-high trade of Polygon NFTs. The January 2023 cumulative sales of NFTs hit a record high of 324 million dollars.
