Snoop Dogg unveils new Ice Cream Brand inspired by a Bored Ape NFT

West Coast rapper Snoop Dogg is broadening his entrepreneurial horizon with the launch of his own ice cream brand, a venture inspired by his Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT avatar, Dr. Bombay. The iconic artist cites fellow celebrities Martha Stewart and Master P as instrumental mentors in his business journey
Why ice creams Snoop?
A personal craving sparked this unconventional leap into the ice cream industry. In an interview for TMZ, Snoop Dogg stated:
“”I love eating ice cream all during the day, night, no matter what time it is (…) It was the fact that I was buying two or three different kinds of ice creams and mixing them up, mixing and matching,”

His frustration with the process of mixing led to the creation of Dr. Bombay, a flavorful solution composed of mixed ice creams.
Using Bored Ape for Branding
The rapper leveraged his NFT, Dr. Bombay, to explore multiple business ventures. However, he found ice cream to be the most promising: “[This] was the one that felt like it could stick out the most because he’s a fan character and everybody loves ice cream”.
Dr. Bombay ice cream is currently available at Walmart in seven mouthwatering flavors. These include Tropical Sherbert Swizzle, Cocoa Cream Cookie Dream, Bonus Track Brownie, Syrupy Waffle Sundaze, S’More Vibes, Iced Out Orange Cream, and Rollin’ in the Dough.
The brand promises a unique ice cream experience reminiscent of Snoop’s own persona. According to the website: “Every flavor we’ve got will take you on a trip down memory lane and leave you feeling like you are experiencing a spoonful with Snoop.”
Help from fellow celebrities
Snoop Dogg expressed gratitude to both Master P and Martha Stewart for their instrumental roles in his entrepreneurial journey:
“Master P showed me the business, taught me how to brand, market and do all the things that I’m doing right now. But Martha Stewart showed me how to take it to another level. (…) Master P put me through college, but I believe that Martha gave me that hands-on experience to be able to do things with her that were considered too big for a rapper.”
Snoop Dogg credits his relationship with Martha Stewart as a beacon of unity, emphasizing the importance of understanding and appreciating people for who they are. He believes their bond sends a positive message that “you can love somebody no matter where they’re from, what color they are, however they were raised.”
With the release of Dr. Bombay and the recent adoption of NFT tickets for his upcoming tour, Snoop Dogg demonstrates once again a full embrace of the crypto culture. Now the rapper-turned-entrepreneur aims to inspire fans to reach for their own dreams and – of course – their next scoop of ice cream.
