Notice regarding removal of NFT collections on Binance NFT Marketplace
Binance has issued a notice regarding the removal of NFT collections on Binance NFT Marketplace. The message stated that the firm periodically reviews the listed NFT collections.
Binance NFT’s recent review and actions taken
Binance’s periodic reviews aim to ensure continued high-level standards as expected. A more in-depth study is conducted if an NFT does not meet the expected standards. Moreover, Binance may take the collection down from its NFT Marketplace in order to help protect users.
After the most recent review, the team decided to remove the following NFT collections from the marketplace:
- Rainbow STEPN x ASICS NFT- joint forces between STEPN(a move-to-earn health and fitness application) and ASICS used in BNBChain.
- Super Ape Yacht Club- owned and operated by Hash Muse.
- The Crazzy Lions- a collection of 3333 unique digital collectibles living on the BSC blockchain.
- BSC Ape Yacht Club- similar to Bored Ape Yacht.
- New Moon- a part of Jeff Koons’ moon phases.
- Meta Ape Yacht Club- 111 unique Kong-inspired NFTs on Bsc blockchain.
- Bluepunks- contributes to NFT fans with handmade characters and immortal artifacts.
- Space Degen Gang- 111 unique Kong-inspired NFTs on Bsc blockchain.
- Crypto Lionesses- the collection is active and promoted through Twitter.
- NFT SeCReT- NFT Art Exhibition(Artificial Intelligence)
- Mutant Ape Yacht Club– a collection of up to 20,000 mutant apes created by exposing an existing bored ape.
- Cyber Punk Yacht Club- offers exclusive collaborations, NFT drops, and merchandise. Members are given a lifetime Airdrop.
- Binance Bored Ape- an art-driven community and growing IP. Each comes with various traits for ease in finding a user account.
- Above all___- the lowest priced NFT in a collection of NFTs on the marketplace.
- Lady Ape Club- also monkey planet. Free airdrop mutant ape collection from GallerAurory.
- Unique bears- bears are algorithmically-generated NFTs on the Solana blockchain.
- Ethereum official- new Ethereum Original Git collection.
In addition to removing them, the team also ceased trading for them on the Binance NFT Marketplace.
When does the notice take effect?
The notice also gave a deadline of 18th January 2023, 23:59 (UTC). Meanwhile, users can trade, deposit, withdraw and list NFTs from the above collections for sale.
The listed NFTs for sale at the Binance NFT marketplace will automatically be taken down from the platform by 18th January 2023, 23:59 (UTC). The NFTs will then be returned to the users’ accounts.
After the deadline, deposits for NFTs for the above NFT collections will no longer be available. However, withdrawals will remain open.
Users have been advised to report any NFTs and NFT collections that violate Binance NFTs Minting Rules and terms of service to Binance NFT. The moderation team will investigate the reports of fraudulent or malicious content before taking action.
