Yuga Labs has unveiled the date for the open beta of ‘Legends of the Mara,’ a 2D strategy game set in the Otherside metaverse.

Beta testing and new opportunities

To kickstart this grand venture, Yuga Labs is launching a beta test for ‘Legends of the Mara‘. This initiative grants Otherdeed NFT holders a new NFT, giving them a broader perspective of the Otherside metaverse.

The game also provides crucial insights about the Kodas, mysterious bipedal creatures inhabiting only 10% of the 100,000 Otherdeed land plots. The beta test, announced via the Otherside meta, is set to provide numerous rewards for players, including the ability to thwart evil forces targeting their Otherdeed lands.

The game comprises three distinct types of Maras – Hunter, Farmer, and Enchanter. Their evolution is influenced by the ‘Odiac’ constellations. Yuga Labs is thus optimistic about a significant growth trajectory in the coming months.
