CyberKongz and Axie Infinity launch “Genkai x Axie Art Contest”

CyberKongz, in collaboration with Axie Infinity, has recently launched a unique digital art competition dubbed the “Genkai x Axie Art Contest.” The competition, which commenced on July 28th, extends until August 11th and commemorates the new partnership between the web3 native companies.

Genkai meets Axie

Last week, CyberKongz announced a new non-fungible token (NFT) collection, Genkai, and the migration of its game, Play and Kollect, from Polygon to Ronin. The Ronin blockchain was created by Sky Mavis, the company behind Axie Infinity.

To celebrate the NFT drop and unite the communities, CyberKongz and Axie Infinity are now organizing a themed contest. According to an Axie Infinity blog post, the art competition is open to all artists and each can submit several entries. However, only one prize will be awarded per participant to level the playing field.

A successful mint

CyberKongz’s Genkai collection was dropped on the Ronin blockchain on July 27th. Over 3,000 CyberKongz Genkai were minted, establishing a significant milestone in the history of the Ronin blockchain. Currently, the collection has a price floor of 0.185 ETH and 64 ETH trading volume on OpenSea.

How to participate

Artists are encouraged to create works embodying the theme “Genkai meets Axie.” Art can be created using a variety of mediums, from traditional paint to modern 3D digital art. Even unconventional methods like TikTok NPC dancing are allowed.
