Thanks to the new partnership, at least four games and social gaming platforms are set to launch their Web3 elements on the Aptos network by the end of this year. READYgg has already secured agreements with over 20 Web2 game publishers, aiming to enhance their games with blockchain elements.
Starting November 16, gaming enthusiasts are invited to register for early access to new game releases.
Upcoming games
By December 6, the first four games are expected to transition to the Aptos blockchain. Additionally, a dozen more are projected to follow in the subsequent year.
Among the confirmed titles transitioning to this new model are the dungeon crawler RPG ‘Runestone Keeper’ from Cimu Games, available on PC, iOS, and Android, and the action game ‘Rescue Robots Sniper Survival’ by Aeria Games Canada, designed for Android. Additionally, social gaming platforms Minijuegos and ToroFun are also on board with this innovative shift, integrating NFT-based loyalty models that reward dedicated players.
Advantages of blockchain integration
READYgg’s network is a powerhouse, counting on a suite of tools to help traditional publishers seamlessly migrate to Web3, thus attracting new audiences to on-chain gaming. The network spans a library of 2,000 games, attracting 200 million monthly active users.
Publishers participating in this venture stand to gain significantly. They will enjoy the efficient capabilities of the Aptos layer 1 blockchain, like swift transactions and asset portability. READYgg’s $RDYX token, known as “The Gamer’s Token”, offers potential funding and grants. Additionally, Aptos’ stable usage fees will minimize the impact of price volatility for publishers.
Onboarding 15 million gamers
David S. Bennahum, CEO of Readygg, expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership:
“Bridging Web2 games to Web3 has always been our goal,”
In an interview with GamesBeat, Bennahum shared that the target audience is 15 million, with a high expected conversion rate due to players’ preference for free digital content. He anticipates significant user growth in the coming months, facilitated by Aptos’s ability to lower transaction costs for game publishers.
Readygg’s vision has always been to democratize Web3 gaming, making it accessible to a global audience, including emerging markets. The Web3 gaming company is already preparing for the new launch with an allowlist campaign that began yesterday, offering eligible players early access to these games.
